Match Preview: Chelsea vs Sunderland

Chelsea will face Sunderland today at the Bridge knowing that 3 points will take them back to the summit of the premier league for the main time before Liverpool play Norwich city tomorrow. Mourinho's men are breathing down Liverpool's neck coutesy of a hard earned win against Swansea last week. Ahead of their trip to Anfield next week in what could be a title decider, The blues know that this is a make or break encounter as anything other than the much needed 3 points would put them in a very difficult position. Sunderland on the other hand snatched an unexpected point at the Etihad stadium drawing 2-2 with favourites Manchester City. However, they still remain six points adrift of safety and have not won since featuring in the capital one cup final on March 2. Conor wickham could easily be the player to watch as the 21 year old scored Two goals at the Etihad stadium on wednesday. He will likely
start upfront with Fabio Borini or Emmanuele Gacchierini comming in from the Left wing. Eden hazard is unlikely to feature as he has also missed 3 premier league games and Chelsea boss Mourinho is not gambler therefore Egyptian Muhammad Salah will likely fill his role in attack. It is also unclear wether Demba ba will be allowed to carry on with his momentum from the past two games or Samuel Eto who has been preferred in home games will lead Chelsea's attack. Chelsea have kept 6 clean sheets in their last 6 games at stamford bridge and might also extend that. POSSIBLE LINE UPS. CHELSEA: Cech, Ivanovich, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Matic, Ramires, Schurle, Oscar, Salah, Eto. SUNDERLAND: Manone, Cuellar, Brown, O'shea, Alonso, Cattermole, Colback, Larson, Johnson, Borini, Wickham.
PREDICTION. Chelsea 2-1 Sunderland
