Chelsea's title aspirations were severely dented as Jose Mourinho suffered his first league home defeat in a whooping 78 games. The Blues were stunned as bottom club Sunderland earned a 2-1 win over Chelsea to give League leaders Liverpool a major boost before their match with Norwich at lunch time today. Samuel Eto'o struck home to give Chelsea the lead in the 12th minute but Sunderland responded in kind as Cornor Wickham followed up Marcos Alonso's shot to equalise some few minutes later. Sunderland later took control of the game as Liverpool cast-off Fabio Borini sloted home a controversial penalty in the second which was very detrimental to Chelsea's aspiration. The Blues are now stagnant in second place two points behind leaders Liverpool and could be five points adrift by the end of the day if Liverpool wins.
The Big question now is that will Liverpool capitalise on Chelsea's mistake or will they falter at Norwich today? That's what we'll find out after Lunch time at the most Crucial stage of the Season.
