Arsenal planning £23m move for German Powerhouse

Arsenal are keen on a move for Germany
international Sami Khedira according to
reports.
It is understood that the Gunners are
looking into a £23m move for the Real
Madrid man, as they look to strengthen their
squad before the start of next season.
The 27-year-old, who is currently on World
Cup duty in Brazil, and preparing for a
last-16 clash with Algeria, has been
continuously linked with an exit from Real
Madrid this summer.
It is believed that Jose Mourinho is
interested in linking up with his former
charge by adding him to Chelsea's squad,
but now it appears that Arsene Wenger is
prepared to battle his old adversary for the
German's signature.
Khedira has been in the Spanish capital for
four years, arriving from Stuggart, and
according to reports, Wenger hopes he
could have a positive effect on fellow
German international Mesut Ozil.
Wenger, who is out in Brazil as a pundit for
a French television channel, will have a
chance to see Khedira in action this Monday
when Germany take on the Fennec Foxes of
Algeria in Porto Alegre.
