Match preview: Liverpool vs Chelsea

All eyes and ears will be on Anfield in anticipation of what is likely the biggest game of the Premier League Season and the 'Title decider.'. Of course, its Liverpool who will face Chelsea at Anfield road today at lunch time kick off that is the talk of the town. Brendan Rodgers' men are in red hot form at the moment in the most crucial stage of the season with players like Suarez, Sturidge and Sterling at their optimum best. Jose Mourinho's men on the other hand have this game sandwiched in between the semi final clash with Atletico also have injury problems at the moment which may be a major factor in deciding this tie.
Brendan Rodgers: "I don't think Chelsea will
play the kids because they never have done. As a football club they have a wonderful academy there but young players don't get the opportunity there. That's one thing you can rule out – there certainly won't be kids playing. Whatever team they play will be more experienced and will have cost more than ours. We are hoping we can continue to perform at a level which makes the
supporters proud and that we continue to win
games."
Jose Mourinho: "The most important thing for
me is my club and the supporters of my club. I have to defend my club and I have to defend
Chelsea supporters. Chelsea fans think Chelsea deserve more respect than Chelsea is getting. That's what they think first of all. They want Chelsea to go to Liverpool and play as always at the maximum and by giving everything they have. We are going to try to win - with which players it is our decision, not your decision."
